Licensed Professional Counselor
Greetings! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with about 5 years of experience. I have a Bachelor of Science degree from the UH- Downtown in Psychology and a Master of Education degree from UH-Victoria @ Katy, a fully accredited clinical counseling program.
I enjoy working with adults, couples, and teens. I have provided therapy in a number of settings including inpatient and outpatient treatment clinics. I apply a person-centered approach to care that educates clients on practical ways to enhance awareness, promote wellness, and regain control of their life. I also want to impart skills that can assist one in accepting the circumstances in life that are out of their control.
My personal aim is to form a therapeutic alliance with my client where we address relationship dynamics, triggers to mood and thought disturbances, identity issues, difficult life transitions, women’s issues, and men’s issues. I deeply value and respect individual diversity. I seek to build strong relationships with my clients where they feel safe to be their authentic self.
